Letter and Word Placement:

Try this quick tip if your child is having trouble with letter placement: Highlight the lower portion of the writing line to help your child know where the lower case letters should be placed. Tall letters (b,d,f,h,k,l,t) start at the top line and touch the bottom line. Small letters (a,c,e,i,m,n,o,r,s,u,v,w,x,z) start in the middle and touch the bottom line (i.e. in the highlighted portion only). The fall letters (g,j,p,q,y) should start in middle and go below the bottom line.
